This small village in the Vie valley and on the Marais Breton, comes under the canton of St.Hilaire-de Riez a few kilometers to the west. The 17th century church has paintings by Henry Simon(1910-87) who was one of the regions best known artist,and includes a painting of Louis XIII offering the parish monstrance to commemorate his victory over the protestants.
