Located
about half way between St. Jean
de Monts and St. Hilaire de Riez is La Plage de la Pege. This is a very busy
beach in the summer with many local camp sites in close proximity, but it is
almost totally deserted in the winter.
The beach at la Pege is narrow at high tide and this can lead to overcrowding in the high season as there are several campsites almost on the beach.
The beach has surveillance during July and August
To the south of the main beach towards the beach at Paree Preneau is an unofficial naturist beach
