Moving north
from Sion-sur-l'Ocean the stretch of beach up to Saint-Jean-de-Monts contains
seven beaches the Plage de Riez is the closest to Sion-sur-l’Ocean and next the
Plage La Parée Preneau.
The beach here is wide and even at high water there is still a large expanse of fine sand.
There is a good size car park in the dunes behind the beach and the forest of the Pays de Monts runs behind the dunes.
The beach has surveillance during the high season
