The Beaches
of the Becs are located just south of St Jeans-de-Monts and come within the
commune of St Hilaire-de-Ritze. The beaches of des Becs include Le Grand Bec, le
petite bec and the plage de salins. The beaches are reduced to just a
narrow strip of sand at high tide and are therefore very busy in the main
season.
The plage beaches des salines is one of the official nudist beaches in the Vendee situated on a quiet stretch away from the main beach, the others include La Faute sur mer.
There is surveillance on the grande bec and the plage des salins.
