Sallertine
in the heart of the Marais Breton was once an island and as such was a
meeting point for the farmers and families of the surrounding
countryside. Today it is an ideal centre from which to discover the
Marais Breton.
The 12th century Church at present ( 2010) receiving a major renovation usually houses an exhibition of life on the marshes.

PINTA.(Pistes
Nouvelles et Traces Ancienne) Just out side the village by the bridge
you can take a one hour guided tour around the former island and
discover the flora and fauna, as well an introduction to life on the
marshes.
Moulin de Raire. 3kms from the village this windmill has continued turning since it was built in 1560. Open to the public.
La Bourrine de Rosalie. one of the last traditional houses of the marshes, open to the public.
Ile aux Jeux. Play centre for kids, Ideal for keeping the younger numbers of the family amused or to celebrate a birthday.
