This
museum in a former school building, which dates from 1891, features the popular
traditions of everyday life at the beginning of the 20th century in the Olonne
region, which is a blend of coastal, marais and bocage countryside.
On
display in the six rooms you will find exhibits including traditional arts and
crafts, costumes and head dresses, a country house interior, coastal activities
and occupations, a school room and memorabilia of the 1914-18 war.
