This museum
in a former school building, which dates from 1891, features the popular
traditions of everyday life at the beginning of the 20th century in the
Olonne region, which is a blend of coastal, marais and bocage
countryside.
On display in the six rooms you will find exhibits including traditional
arts and crafts, costumes and head dresses, a country house interior,
coastal activities and occupations, a school room and memorabilia of the
1914-18 war.
Open: July /August Monday Wednesday & Friday 15h to 18.30h.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10h to 12h
June/September. Monday to Friday 14.30 to 17.30h
All year every Tuesday 14.30 to 17.30h
