The Ile de Noirmoutier has a miniature village called Mini-Ville. These reduced scaled models of traditional French houses. Mini Ville features houses of the French countryside region by region and the mini houses have been reproduced using materials from the regions featured. Each one has taken 20 to 33 hours of work and is the result of an in-depth study in each region.This includes stonework, tiles, slates, shingle and thatched roofs, with realistic differences in size and colours showing the rich and varied heritage of domestic dwellings. Mini Ville is an informative and entertaining way to learn about housing in the countryside.
There is a children’s play area and patio rest areas.
