away in the north east corner of the Vendée, on the banks of the Grande Maine,
the Maison de la Rivière is a haven of peace and tranquillity.
The visitor’s centre is devoted to the freshwater world of the river. In this old watermill on a five acre site, discover the secrets of the river through interactive displays.
After leaving the centre take a stroll along one of the trails, discovering the fauna and flora of the river bank or perhaps take a short boat trip.
During the summer there are a variety of activities from concerts to theatrical performances.
Opening Times: 1/4 to 14/6 and the 1st to 19th Sept.
Every day except Mondays 14h to 18h
15/6 to31/8 every day 11h to 19h.
Tariff: Adults €4.00.
Children (6-13) €2.00.
