Situated on the the river Lay
this small village is best known for the nearby Pont de Lavaud which
was built by the famous engineer Gustave Eiffel. A simple bridge built

Lay.
Below the bridge is a popular restaurant, 'l'Aubraie' which has glorious views on the river.
This area of the lay valley with its vineyards is a pleasant place to take a stroll, cycle or drive.
Just a little further downstream is the ancient Port de la Claye.
