Take time to hop on board the island's Hippobus pulled by Eliot
and Tulip. They will take you for a languid trip to the rhythm of their hooves,
for about an hour through the salt marshes. This visit, available from April to
September, has a commentary (albeit in French) and you will discover the history
of the countryside as shaped by man as well as the exploitation of the salt
marshes. It is a relaxing way to see a small part of the island of Noirmoutier.
