The Folly
Finfarine is a tourist site that invites young and old to explore
nature. Several offerings are available to visitors and the whole family
can enjoy this wooded and hilly site.
In an area of woodland young children (from the age of 3) will be provided with a map and a magnifying glass. Older ones get research to carry out. Such is the equipment, your children get to learn about wooden huts, the maze, the stags and many other topics. For parents there is a display on forms of renewable energy and an exhibition on trees and topics dealing with the environment.
For all the family there is an entertaining presentation on bees and honey.
"The Giant beehive" Turn yourself into a bee and explore the inside of 150m² beehive.
New 2011. Le Jardine de l'Abeille sur les 5 sens. The garden of the 5 senses is for the very young members of the family where they will discover the life of the bee using the 5 senses.
Through the summer there are various festivals and exhibitions, including the Honey Festival July 20th and 21st and again on 17th and 18th August, and the Festival of the Honey Harvest on the 18th September.
Open: 8th April to 7th July everyday 14.00 to18.30 (closed Saturdays)
8th July to 31st August everyday 10.30 to19.00
1st September to 16th September every day 14.00 to18.00
Closed on Saturdays.
28th October to 8th November everyday 14.00 to18.00
