In the Haut
bocage just off the D72 outside the town of les Landes Genusson is the 54
hectare wild bird reserve with its 3 lakes which you can wonder around
freely between the Discovery Centre with its museum and display area and the two
bird observatories.
This is an important site both for breeding wildfowl and as a migratory stop off. You can watch the various birds as they arrive or leave, their mating rituals, feeding and get to recognise the many varied species.
Open:1/4 to 31/5 Monday to Friday & Sunday 14h till 18h
1/6 t0 30/6 Mon. To Fri. 10-12.30h & 14 - 18h
Sundays 14h till 19h
