La
Plage-du-Jaunay is reached via the Rue de Plage-du-Jaunay which is off the D38,
(south of St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie) and then across the Pont du
Jaunay.
During the summer it is busy with visitors from the nearby
holiday camps. There is a good stretch of fine sand with exposed bedrock to
the southern end of the beach. To the north the beach runs all the way to Le Grand Plage at Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.
There is
no surveillance and no facilities either on the beach or nearby and the small
car park is a little way from the beach.
